Kurzicks vs. Luxons - Switching Teams - Guild Wars Forums

1. Can I declare for Kurzicks and change my mind later to declare for Luxons with the same character or will they always be a Kurzick from then on?

2. Can I have a Kuzrick Warrior and a Luxon Monk on the same Guild Wars Account or do you declare globally?

3. How does your guilds choice come into play? My guild is kind of split as to which way we want to go....if the answer to question #2 is "you declare globally", will it cause serious problems as far as PvE goes or only in PvP?

4. Can a Kurzick get Luxon Armor and vice-versa?

1. Not entirely sure what you mean... as far as I know, you can switch just by doing stuff for the other side.

2. No; Kurzick and Luxon faction works like Balthazar's: It's global.

3. I can't see guild's choice causing many problems... I think guild faction is seperate from your personal faction, and this would only affect which side you fight on in guild/alliance matches(and which elite mission you can do, I guess.)

4. Not if you're currently on the Kurzicks and talk to a Luxon merchant; you'd have to work up some Luxon faction first. Eventually, though, yes you should be able to.

1. What is the different between then and which is more fun to play as?

mm... I don't believe you can choose your faction until after you've done most of the city, marketplace and such. Judging by the FPE. As for which is bettter, it's entirely personal taste. I absolutely love the Echovald forest, and a lot of the Kurzick armor. I also think they have more interesting monsters than the Luxons' flying squids or whatever.
